Workshop Announcements & Glimpses Behind the Scenes

Workshop Tour in Boston & Maine

Great news! Registration is now open for three Beginner Calligraphy Workshops in New England next month.

Join me in January for one of these cozy classes (or gift a ticket to someone dying to get started in modern calligraphy!). We'll cover all the basics you need to get started, from holding the pen to writing the complete lowercase alphabet. My workshops are hands-on, using all the traditional materials such as pointed nibs, pen holders, and Sumi ink. You'll also walk away with a complete Plurabelle Beginner Supply Kit and Plurabelle's own Letter Specimen Handbook & Resource Guide, distributed exclusively to students in my classes.

Absolutely no previous calligraphy experience is required. However, if you do have a little bit of knowledge already, I'll be able to give you feedback based on the work I see on your paper. Students in the past who've had a little experience coming into my beginner-level classes have still found the lessons helpful for learning new techniques and correcting old habits.
